UPDATES

Hi all,

Over on my main blog I recently wrote a post about the scriptwriting mentors who’ve taught and inspired me.

In that post, also promised that I’d be updating my rates and the services I provide as a script consultant.

As promised, a detailed list of my rates can now be found on my rates tab.

Additionally, an in depth description of what my script assessments cover can now be found under services.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be facilitating a block of the EAT writer’s group that will focus on genre writing. For more details, contact Sally Thorburn through their website.

I’ll have some more exciting news to share with you in the coming months. Follow this blog on WordPress for continuing updates.

Cheers,

Rene

Where to go for Script Consultation

Here are places to go for professional script assessment in New Zealand:

Your mates.

When graduating from the New Zealand Film School, our tutors kept reminding us that the best resource the school gave us was the group of friends we’d made over the course of the year. We were the ones who would  collaborate with each other after film school, hire each other, and recommend each other for jobs. I have several friends from film school who I still send my scripts to regularly for their feedback, and even friends who haven’t studied film who I’ll send my stuff to. We’ve all been hearing, watching, and telling stories from a very young age, which should make all of your most trusted friends capable of providing valuable feedback on your screenplay or idea.
